Romulus Flyers JV Football Team Launches Innovative Player Development Program Under Coach Morgan

ree

Fresh off a championship-winning season, the Romulus Flyers JV Football Team is entering the new year with a fresh mindset and a powerful new initiative. Under the leadership of Head Coach Morgan—formerly the Assistant Coach—the team is introducing a combine-style performance tracking program designed to build confidence, strength, and measurable growth in every player.

Coach Morgan's vision is clearly in motion. The photos capture players engaged in structured drills such as the 3-cone drill and sit-ups, with coaches timing and recording results. These exercises are part of a broader plan to test and track performance in key areas like the 40-yard sprint, long jump, and core strength.

This program will be implemented at the beginning, middle, and end of the season, giving players tangible feedback on their progress. Every athlete—regardless of position—will receive a full breakdown of their results, helping them see how far they’ve come and where they can continue to grow.

Coach Morgan’s goal is simple but powerful: to ensure every player feels seen, valued, and motivated. Not every position gets the spotlight on game day, but with this system, every Flyer will have proof of their development. Plans are already in motion to expand this program across all four Romulus Flyers teams, creating a consistent and supportive growth path for athletes year after year.

With a championship legacy behind them and a forward-thinking approach ahead, the JV Flyers are setting the tone for a season of strength, unity, and progress.
